‘Champ’ Sampson celebrates 100 in grand style

THE Guyana Ex-Police Association of America (GEPAO) recently celebrated its 46th anniversary with a gala dinner and dance at the fabulous Glen Terrace Banquet Hall, East 53rd and 54th Streets, Brooklyn, New York.

Now a pensioner, Sampson, who resides in Brooklyn, New York, celebrated his 100th birth anniversary on May 27 last.alt
Popularly know as “Champ” like several of his other namesakes in the British Guiana/Guyana Police Force, Sampson was joined in the celebration by his daughter Gem Sampson, also and ex-member of the Guyana Police Force and grandson John O’Dell, vice-president of the Guyana Ex-police Association of Canada (GEPAC).
