THE Guyana Ex-Police Association of America (GEPAO) recently celebrated its 46th anniversary with a gala dinner and dance at the fabulous Glen Terrace Banquet Hall, East 53rd and 54th Streets, Brooklyn, New York.
Among the special guests at the occasion was retired sergeant of the Guyana Police Force 4352 Wilfred Eustas Sampson,
Now a pensioner, Sampson, who resides in Brooklyn, New York, celebrated his 100th birth anniversary on May 27 last.
Popularly know as “Champ” like several of his other namesakes in the British Guiana/Guyana Police Force, Sampson was joined in the celebration by his daughter Gem Sampson, also and ex-member of the Guyana Police Force and grandson John O’Dell, vice-president of the Guyana Ex-police Association of Canada (GEPAC).
