Well known, fashion designer and Guru Sonia Noel has launched her new television show, ‘Beyond the Runway’ which will be aired on the National Communications Network (NCN) and several other platforms.
Noel noted that in celebration of her birth anniversary which was on August 15 and the third anniversary of her newspaper column she decided to launch a new project that speaks to empowerment and will meet the eyes and ears of many during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“They say only every 823 years we experience five weekends in a month so I am even more intentional about making it extra special,” she said.
The show she noted will feature interviews with people from around the world who are positively contributing to humanity.
Noel noted that the ‘Beyond the Runway’ show will feature 30 awe inspiring short stories that will stimulate one to go the extra mile.
She added that the television programme will also feature stories from her newspaper column which is also called Beyond the Runway.
“The Beyond the Runway column started in 2017 and has featured compelling and inspiring content that motivated many. I extracted some of the most intriguing, motivating and mind-blowing featured stories [from the Beyond the Runway column]. I am certain there is a story that will resonate with everyone regardless,” Noel said
The first two guests on the show were Shelly A Muñoz who is an award-winning educator from the United States with 20+ year knowledge of the classroom, staff development instructor, and university professor and Gabriel Funsho Babalola from Nigeria a graduate of mechanical engineering.
Shelly has authored several educational journals and has featured in the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) STEM Challenges and Academic Success.
Shelly is a STEM consultant, educational literacy consultant for Digi-Tells, and has appeared on numerous television shows and newscast ~ promoting literacy, science education, and STEM.
Meanwhile, Babalola is also a life coach, an author, business development strategist and a serial entrepreneur.
His mission she said is helping people live and love their best life runs an online school namely “The well of wisdom Life School” where he helps students to live purposeful, fulfilling, happy and extraordinary life.
Noel disclosed that persons have benefited from a number of special gifts such as books, outfits, coaching calls and personal and professional development programmes. Persons were also given special discounts on products and services.
“During the pandemic, I have become even more intentional to soar to greater heights and assist others to do the same. We have great plans for persons who tuned in to the launch,” Noel Said.
The show will air on Saturdays from 19:00hrs to 19: 30hrs on stream Yard, Facebook and Caribbean Power Jam weekly.
