Linden man gets bail over physical assault

Retrieve pork knocker remanded on attempted murder charge

JERMAIN King’s attorney was successful in her application for bail to be granted to her client who pleaded not guilty to the charge of physical assault.The charge was read by Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Linden Magistrate’s Court and stated that the defendant of Lot 54, First Alley, Wismar, Linden on Friday, April 15th 2016 unlawfully assaulted Trenton Fraser so as to cause him actual bodily harm. The prosecutor had no objection to bail and King will return to court to defend the charge on July 26th, 2016.

Meanwhile, Ernest Couchman, a pork knocker of Retrieve, Mackenzie, Linden was refused bail on the charge of attempted murder. The charge, read by Magistrate Nurse, stated that on Monday, May 30, 2016 he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Victor Lusal of Wismar, Linden with intent to murder him. The unrepresented Couchman will make his next court appearance on July 19th, 2016 at the Linden Magistrate’s Court to defend the charges.
