THE Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) Administration is planning an impressive flag-raising ceremony to mark Guyana’s 44th Independence Anniversary on May 26.
A release said the ceremony will be held on the tarmac of Anna Regina Fire Station on the Essquibo Coast from 07:00 hrs.
The release said members of the Disciplined Forces would hoist the Golden Arrowhead and the feature address is expected to be delivered by a yet to be named Government Minister, with all members of the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) and regional officials in attendance.
