POLICE in Regional Division Number Six, on Friday, seized an illegal .38 revolver and seven matching rounds of ammunition at the Alness Village, Corentyne, Berbice home of a 56-year-old woman.
According to information from the Guyana Police Force (GPF), ranks were at the time conducting a police operation when they visited the area and a search of the woman’s residence unearthed the firearm and ammunition.
The woman, her 66-year-old husband and their 28-year-old son, all of the same address, were cautioned and arrested in connection with firearm and ammunition seizure. They remain in custody as investigation continues.
