Spreading Christmas cheer in Phillipai
On Sunday, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, Sonia Parag was in the picturesque village of Phillipai in Upper Mazaruni, Region Seven, as part of President Dr. Irfaan Ali's government's initiative to bring the joy of Christmas to every region of Guyana. On behalf of Minister Gail Teixeira, MP, who holds ministerial responsibility for Region Seven, Minister Parag accompanied by the Toshao of Phillipai, as well as the Toshao of Paruima, MP Lee Williams had the pleasure of distributing gifts to all the children present.
