Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Dr. Irfaan Ali has announced that Guyana’s servicemen and women will receive a one-month salary bonus as part of the annual Christmas initiative.

The payout totals $1.6 billion, providing well-deserved recognition for the dedication and service of the nation’s security forces.

The announcement was made on Saturday during the Annual Christmas Lunch at Base Camp Seweyo.
