KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING OUR NATIONAL BORDER ISSUE(S) IS ESSENTIAL…

Recently, I’ve had several reasoning exchanges on the external madness affecting our awareness apart from the home-grown issues that we are facing. That is the assertion that our border issue is parallel to what is going on with the Ukraine in the Russian Federation. It is not, so I promised this article. Mr. Maduro personally uses the lament of the imperialist colonisers from where the nations of the Americas and the Caribbean emerged after paying the brutal ‘tides’ of slavery.

Meanwhile, he is imitating the colonising themes towards a smaller and younger nation with a border issue completed before the Republic of Guyana existed. His uniform forces independently (using bullying methods against Guyanese Miners in their own country by criminalised sections of his forces.) This claim is hinged on the strangest phenomenon, a concocted letter purporting to have been written by a dead man that no one was witness to while he was alive.

Let me put that into perspective. A family stands before a court to argue against other family members over an inheritance. They have a ‘Will’ that attributes the said inheritance to side with the directives of the said document in their favour. The presiding Judge will enquire about the legal counsel and witnesses that presided over the dictates of the said document towards the legal creation of the ‘Will’ and to which authority it was registered, and thus before death had become a public document. The suspicion that the will is a forgery arises because it is the only interpretation that can be construed towards a rational conclusion to this dead man’s will, that it is most likely a forgery, designed to fit a specific intimidating and dishonest purpose, void of customary legal procedures. Such a document, coupled with rabble-rousing as doctrine, is before us. At least, what would be interesting to me is who produced the letter in the first place.

Now to the reference of the Ukraine. This is a different issue. Ukraine is not independent; it is part of the Russian Federation, so this is more a civil war. An example can be drawn with the Southern states of America seceding in 1861 over the abolition of slavery. That led to a four-year civil war, 1861-1864, before the south was defeated. Slavery was defeated, but the Klu Klax Klan, post-WWII Nazi cults, segregation and racism continued into the 20th century.

Who are the Ukrainians? Their mystique revolves around the Scythians. Much of the Russian archaeology and ancient Greek writings executed about these peoples record them as known for their brutality and warlike tendencies. Migrating from Asia, they did prevail over most of modern-day Ukraine and the plains of southern Russia.

There were conflicts in Russia between Ukrainians and Russia that spanned decades. I dealt with this in a previous article. But to condense to the present, it rests with Nikita Khrushchev’s handing over Crimea to Ukraine, without a people’s consensus. Crimea is linked to the Black Sea, a strategic area of Russian defence, then Ukraine’s flirtation with NATO. From an historic position, Russia would hold the compromising of The Black Sea, through NATO, with many former historical enemies in NATO.

Thus, a brief on the Ukraine conflict, in fact, Ukraine is populated by both Russians and Ukrainians. There are no similarities between our issue and Ukraine. Ours has to do with the misguiding indoctrination of the Venezuelan people, at least enough of them, and the lack of courage of specific leaders not to undo the process. Realising it for what it is. But this is not 1939. The laws and the world have changed.
