GUYANA’S Jeremiah Duncan out of the Young Achievers Boxing Gym, was judged ‘Best Boxer’ at the Caribbean Schoolboys and Juniors Boxing Championships which concluded Sunday at Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Duncan, who won his 50-52 kg bout with Andrew Curtis of The Bahamas when the referee stopped the contest one minute 37 seconds in the third round.
The tag is no stranger to the young man as in February he was also voted the Best Boxer at the Guyana Boxing Association Pepsi’s Mike Parris National U-16 tournament.
On Sunday, Guyana soared to 23 points, ahead of The Bahamas (nine points), Trinidad (eight points) and St Lucia (five points).
