A WEST LA PENITENCE man, who, allegedly, robbed a man of his motorcycle at gunpoint, on Wednesday, appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and was granted $70,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan
Delwyn Gulluc denied that, on January 1, at Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown, while being in the company of others and armed with a gun, he robbed Raphel Jackman of one Haojue motorcycle valued $178,000.
The case against the accused is that, at about 00:30 hours on the day in question, he confronted Jackman who was sitting on his motorcycle.
Jackman was forced to give up his motorcycle after his cousin was shot.
On February 28, at about 19:00 hours, Jackman saw Gulluc and immediately contacted the police at Ruimveldt Police Station. Jackman identified Gulluc to ranks and with the help of public spirited citizens he was apprehended.
He was later charged. The matter was adjourned until March 31.
