THE police are investigating the murder of a man who has been identified as “Curl Up Toe,” which occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at Camp and Robb Streets, Georgetown. The man is said to be in his 40s. According to police, the crime was allegedly committed by a 27-year-old man of Toucan Drive, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown Information from a security officer who was in the vicinity revealed that the suspect picked up a brick and dealt the victim, who was sleeping on the roadway, several blows to the head and made good his escape in a northern direction. The suspect was later arrested at a location in Charlotte Street. Meanwhile, the body of the victim was examined by detectives and was observed with several injuries to the head. It was taken to Lyken’s Funeral Home where it is awaiting a post-mortem as an investigation continues.
