AFTER months of closure to vehicular traffic, the bridge at Hogg and Sussex Streets, Albouystown, will soon be back in operation, thanks to a project by the Ministry of Public Works.
A container truck reportedly reversed on the bridge, causing major damages to it and eventually resulting in its closure.
Councillor for Constituency 10 (Albouystown/Charlestown), Heston Bostwick, reported the matter to the City Council, which in turn contacted the ministry for help. Bostwick said, at the fast pace in which the works were being done, in his estimation, he sees the bridge becoming operable again in less than two weeks.
