
POLICE ranks attached to G Division, on Saturday afternoon, destroyed some 300 Marijuana plants, during a drug eradication exercise at the Onderneeming Sandpit area in Region Two.
According to information reaching Guyana Chronicle, a party of policemen went to the area and carried out a search. During the search, 300 Marijuana plants, measuring 3 to 6 feet in height, were seen under cultivation.

No one was seen on the farm. However, two motorcycles were seen in the trackway. The plants were pulled out, place in a heap and set afire. The motorcycles were taken to the Suddie Police Station. Over the past months, police attached to the division have destroyed large quantities of marijuana.
