IT has been over one month since the lifeless body of 67-year-old Sohan Ramdial was found buried in a shallow grave on his farm at Belle West, West Bank Demerara (WBD). The police are yet to make an arrest.
On April 6, Ramdial’s lifeless body was discovered in the shallow grave after his family had mobilised a search party for him, after he did not return home.
Ramdial was last seen on the morning of Sunday, April 5, when he left his Lot 69 Claybrick Road, Canal No. 2, home to tend to his cattle in the backdam.
An autopsy conducted on the body of Ramdial found that he died from the perforation of the lungs and heart due to multiple stab wounds.
A Senior Police Detective, on Monday, May 26, 2020, told the Guyana Chronicle that the Ramdial’s murder investigation was still open and was on-going. The police had arrested several persons but they were later released.
