SENIOR Magistrate Leron Daly on Friday, August 9, 2019, remanded a man to prison for stealing.

Seon Burch, appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Particulars of the charge stated that, between August 2 and August 6, 2019, at 44 Public Road, Kitty, Georgetown, he stole a quantity of items valued at $111,000, property of National Congress of Women (NCW).

Police prosecutor asked the court for Burch to be remanded to prison since he was under an investigation for a break and enter charge.

Magistrate Leron Daly remanded Burch to prison and adjourned the matter for August 30, 2019.
