AMBASSADOR Frederick Hamley Case became the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana to the Republic of Latvia on April 16, 2019. Hamley Case, who is also Guyana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, presented his Letters of Commission to President of Latvia, His Excellency Raimonds V?jonis.

Guyana and Latvia established diplomatic relations on March 16, 2005.
