…desktop wireless telephone donated

AFTER being without a working telephone for the past two years, the Charity Police Station Management Committee and Business Community purchased and donated one Desktop Wireless Telephone for the Charity Police Station.

Reports indicate that the original phone that serviced that police station was down due to a technical fault with the landlines owned by the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company Ltd.

Persons can now contact police ranks at that station on numbers 613-0573 and 672-0140 which were installed in the wireless phone at the Charity Police Station.
The telephone was handed over by Mr. Duleep Singh, Chairman of the Station Management Committee.
