President David Granger, on Thursday received a courtesy call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Mr. Carlos Holmes Trujillo Garcia, at the Ministry of the Presidency. Later Mr Garcia met with Guyana’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr Karen Cummings at the Marriott. During the discussion the two spoke about security, at the Venezuelan border, Guyana’s booming oil and gas industry and the opening of a Colombian embassy here in Guyana.
