A WANTED bulletin for a prime suspect in the stabbing death of an excavator operator at Capoey Village, Essequibo Coast, was issued by the Guyana Police Force on Monday.
Investigators want to question Carl “Ralph” Welcome Jnr. for the murder of 23-year-old Shervin Melville between 16th and 17th December, 2018. Welcome, 19, is from the North West District, and Swan, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.

Melville, an excavator operator of Capoey Lake, Essequibo Coast, was found motionless with a knife stuck in the neck and abrasions on his right arm and left side upper chest at about 05:30hrs at his home.
He was discovered by an in-law. Melville had lived there with his 20-year-old wife and their two-month old baby. Police said Melville had a misunderstanding with ‘Ralph’ whilst imbibing.
