The GLTA held its annual awards and dinner on Friday evening at the Georgetown Club, where the outstanding performers for 2018 were honoured.
Campbell is known for her supremacy on the court also one of the toughest players to oppose. Her dominating performances last year have led to Campbell once again being named the leading female tennis player in Guyana.

Downes, on the other hand, picked up the best men’s player tag for the 7th year and based on his current form, it will be hard to take that title away.
Shelly Daly-Ramdyhan was named Coach-of-the-Year, while Hayden Mentore and Saskia Persaud were named the most improved players.
