Emmanuel Sealey
THERE are many unique ways to share inspirational messages but finding the “right” way to reach the right crowd is always a challenge.
Young rapper, 19-year-old, Emmanuel Sealey aka “Krucial Milita” believes that he could reach millions with his inspirational lyrics.
“My music is an expression of myself and a reflection of what goes on in society…I am an inspiration to the ghetto youths, the poor, the lost, the found and the voice of the voiceless,” said Sealey, adding that his aim is to show the world that there is still hope for people who come from the slums.
The young rapper grew up in Sophia, a community often labelled as “depressed”. There, he lived in a single parent home after his mother and father separated. He believes that the separation destroyed part of him that is yet to be fixed.
“This makes me different. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience from my environment, which labels me as a ghetto youth. I chose the name ‘Krucial’ which indicates, pain, hate, and all the bad things I went through within my past and the negative energy I received from those who were and still are among me. ‘Milita’ indicates a brighter day, a new beginning, a better life,” said Sealey.
Despite the fight, the closed doors and the betrayal from family and friends, empty pockets, hungry bellies, loneliness and much more negative energy, the young rapper said there is still a chance for people to become what they want to be.
In order to achieve those goals, he said persons just have to believe in themselves and never give up no matter what the results are.
“My goal is to make it. My dream is to become an idol to those who are like me and even worse than me, to change or to save millions or even billions of lives whether young or old and to finally leave the earth or die a legend,” he said.
His message to other persons is to: “Believe in yourself, be yourself, motivate yourself, trust yourself, surround yourself with people whose energy you feel and not those who drain your energy. Tell yourself that you can do it without the help of those who refused to help you, and never give up no matter the results. You become what you “medz”.”
