A MINIBUS driver was robbed by three armed bandits of all his valuables and minibus keys at the route 44 bus-park, Avenue of the Republic, Georgetown, in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

The bandits, after committing the act, escaped on foot.
Reports indicate that one of the bandits was armed with a handgun, another with a cutlass and the other with an ice pick.

Inquiries disclosed that the driver of minibus BNN 1380 had finished working and was checking off his daily earnings when he was approached by the perpetrators.

The bandit who was armed with the handgun pointed it to the driver and demanded his cash and valuables. He handed them over while one of the robbers entered the bus and removed the keys before escaping.
