KURT Steele was Monday sentenced to four years in prison for possession of narcotics.
It was alleged that on May 4, 2018 at Broad Street, Georgetown, Steele had in his possession 453grammes of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The 20-year-old man pleaded guilty to the charge.

According to the police report, ranks were on patrol when they saw the defendant on a bicycle holding a black plastic bag. He was stopped and a search was carried out and a quantity of stems and leaves wrapped in transparent bags was discovered.
Steele was fined $30,000 and jailed for four years by Magistrate Judy Latchman.
