-suspect attempts suicide

Police are investigating a murder at Wales on the West Bank of Demerara in which a 39-year old man hanged his partner before attempting to taking his own life.

The dead woman has only been identified as 42-year old Dianne Hernandez , while the suspect , Nigel Glasgow attempted to take his own life after committing the act.

Reports are that the couple were heard arguing on Tuesday night.The woman recently moved into the man’s home.

Police are investigating  the incident. (Leroy Smith)
