THE Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) programme for the rest of the 2017 season has been amended because of circumstances beyond the control of the Association.

According to reports, the association has pushed back its Beach Volleyball competition as well as its visit to Georgetown to engage teams from the Capital city in a series of matches.
These two programmes were slated for this past weekend but will now be conducted by mid-December.

According to BVA’s president and current national coach, Levi Nedd, the BVA’s 2017 season has been very satisfactory to date and the two activities which are the final two for the season, will be completed later this month.

Meanwhile, training sessions for a number of squads, including the under-19 male and female teams preparing for the 2018 Inter Guiana games and other senior and junior male and female squads, are continuing in the Ancient County on a regular basis.

The BVA’s referees and coaches’ workshop course is still on the cards.
