THE Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) on Sunday evening announced a strong 15-man squad to participate in the second annual Antigua Barbuda Cricket Association (ABCA) Independence T20 tournament.
The three-team tournament is scheduled for October 6 to 14. Jamaica and hosts Antigua are the other two participating countries.

According to a release from the GCB, the team consists of a mixture of contracted Franchise and Academy players along with other senior players, and will be led by Leon Johnson, with Veerasammy Permaul as vice-captain.
The Guyana squad reads: Robin Bacchus, Gajanand Singh, Leon Johnson, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Jonathan Foo, Anthony Bramble, Keemo Paul, Sherfane Rutherford, Veerasammy Permaul, Steven Jacobs, Ronsford Beaton, Romario Shepherd, Ricardo Adams, Christopher Barnwell and Ramaal Lewis.
All players are asked to report to the Everest Cricket ground for training this morning from 09:00hrs.
