THE Restoration Life Ministries, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, on Saturday held a multi-faceted health and wellness fair at its Caneview Avenue, South Ruimveldt Gardens premises.
Those in attendance benefitted from blood-pressure and blood-sugar testing, VIA screening for cervical cancer, dentistry, and HIV testing among other health-related services. They were also treated to talks about family planning, and persons in need of prayers were also accommodated.

According to the youth group leader of the church, Dr. Maneke Williams, “The entire health and wellness fair was conceptualised by the purpose-driven youths of the Restoration Life Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor Wade Ridley.”
She related that the Ministry of Public Health has a mandate to ensure that all members of the population are healthy, and cognisant of this, the church decided to assist in carrying out this mandate. As Dr Williams said, “Health is wealth; so let’s get rich!”
The fair is part of the activities planned by members of the church as it will celebrate it’s 10th anniversary in September.
