QUARTER-FINAL action in the Colours/Guinness Greatest in the Streets Linden leg will be contested tomorrow evening at the Silver City Tarmac from 19:00hrs.
In the first of the two matches, Swag Entertainment will have to do battle with Jermaine and Family Silver Bullets while in game two, Dave and Celina All-Stars will take on Team 25
In their differing quarter-final paths, Swag Entertainment held on for a 2-0 penalty win against Cherokee Park after the scores were tied 1-1 at regulation time.
Cherokee opened the scoring in the fourth minute with Nantambu Arbar while Colwyn Drakes responded in the 25th to bring the game level.

Game two was a drastically different affair, with Dave and Celina’s All-Stars making light work of Young Kings 3-0. Cordell Johnson (4th), Rawle Gittens (12th) and Sean Brewley (21th) were all on target in the onslaught.
Game three was also determined on penalties with Jermaine and Family Silver Bullets advancing through to the next round via a 2-1 result over High Rollers.

Again, it was a case of the team that came from behind. High Rollers’ Kendolph Lewis opened the scoring in the first minute and it took a Jermaine Samuels 29th minute strike to equalise.
Game four was an absolute rout for the winners Team 25 as they pummelled Amelia’s Ward Russians. Four different strikers, Rudy Halley (6th), Ruel Williams (14th), Teon Stewart (24th) and Ryan Noel (26th) ensured their team moved on to the next round.
The Russians still managed a consolation goal through Oswald Benjamin (22nd).
The final will be played on Saturday.
