Albouystown foundation establishes mining syndicate

TRUE VISION Foundation, a Community-based, Non-Governmental Organisation operating in Constituency No. 10, basically Albouystown, has established a mining syndicate. It is anticipated that activities created by the syndicate will respond to the plight of The unemployed youths of Albouystown.

The syndicate and the unemployed youths of Constituency # 10 wish to thank His Excellency President David Granger and Hon Minister Raphael Trotman, M.P, Minister of Natural Resources, for accepting the small miners’ proposal to establish mining syndicates throughout Guyana to ease the plight of small miners.
In a press release, issued on Saturday, the mining syndicate affirms: “Special credit must be given to our hard- working Minister Simona Broomes, who had worked so hard, day and night, listening to the dilemma of small miners who were victims of landlordism exploitation, putting their dreams together.”

The release said the onus was now on the leadership of the representatives of the mining syndicates to ensure the realisation of the syndicates’ objectives.
“From an Albouystown standpoint, our community has been depressed for too long, to allow an opportunity of this magnitude to slip away without putting our Constituency right,” it said, adding that “It is the obligation of the Albouystown Mining Syndicate to ensure that all benefits from the offspin [sic] of this project, particularly our unemployed youths, (both genders) our senior citizens, not forgetting our brothers and sisters with disability.”

The mining syndicate said too, that the way is now clear for small miners to make an impression in the mining industry, creating a new culture therein, thus supporting our Government’s green economy initiative.
“It must be noted that it is the responsibility of the True Vision Foundation to ensure that all prospective miners and various categories of workers be trained in their respective fields, as syndicates are not only about mining, it encompasses forestry activities also.

True Vision Foundation affirmed: “The National Mining Syndicate is here to stay, and all Guyanese must be proud to be a part of the exploitation of our natural resources; they must get involved now.”
The Albouystown Mining Syndicate said it had already paid for 12 blocks of prime mining land and is in a state of readiness to proceed with its mining activities with the support of their potential donors. Prospective and potential miners who wish to be a part of the syndicate, are invited to call the office on Phone number 592-644-6914.
