AS sponsorship continues to pour in for the upcoming Boyce and Jefford Relay Festival and Family Fun Day, C. Mohan Contracting Guyana Inc. has entered a long-term agreement to sponsor the Women’s 4x100m race of the April 30 event.
The company on Tuesday handed over the sponsorship package, and pledged their annual support, at a simple presentation ceremony.
“The group is of the view that the event is a refreshing activity for sports in Guyana, and as such, it will partner with the hosts to offer continued annual support,” a press release from the organisers said.
Chairman of the Management Committee for the Boyce and Jefford Relay Festival, Colin Boyce, thanked the entity for its contribution, indicating that it augurs well for the longevity of the event when a company decides to offer long-term sponsorship.
This year marks the second edition of the Relay Festival, which began last year. Over $1M in cash will be up for grabs at this year’s hosting, which will feature the addition of two new relays and two cycle races, as well as an increase in the cash prizes.
