Johnny Rockets, officially opened its doors to members of the public on Thursday morning at its 27 Hadfield Street, Georgetown, location.

The ribbon was cut by the co-owner and one of her two daughters, after which members of the public made their purchases in the spanking new fast food outlet.

Johnny Rockets prepares fresh burgers, fries and shakes with all natural ingredients, some of which are imported. According to co-owner Preeta Mangar, they have 60 persons in their employ. Their investment has run into millions of dollars and they are here to provide a high standard of service to customers. She related that they have a variety of foods and for the opening, they have a special in which customers will get a free refill of soda. The business offers 100% halaal beef and chicken, prepared fresh in front of the customer and has been in existence since 1986.
