Front Road decimate Camp Street 10-2 in Petra Futsal

UTTER decimation is what resulted when West Front Road took on Camp Street All Stars in the Petra-organised Futsal tournament, in association with GT beer on Thursday evening.
The score line ended 10-2 in favour of the Front Road side, as both Carl Tudor and Roy Cossou slammed hat-tricks with goals in the 7th, 9th and 28th and 18th, 26th and 27th minutes respectively.
Randolph Wagner also found himself on the score cards in the 10th and 25th respectively while Andre Webber 20th and Jamal Pedro 29th each made single strikes
Camp Street’s two goals came from Ron Lyken (13th) and an own goal (12th).
In the night’s opening game, Tiger Bay trounced Hustlers 6-1 thanks to two own goals as well as a brace from Deon Alfred (8th and 19th), James Meredith (25th) and Keoma Gravesande (15th) while Hustlers had Anthony Sancho (9th) on target.
Game 3 was a tense affair between Albouystown and Campbellville with the former winning 3-2. The eventual winners had Melvorn Ross (6th), Jermin Daniels (15th) and Roy Samuels (20th) on target while Campbellville had Ozeal Small (7th) and Azuma Small (11th) finding the nets.
Alexander Village also made an early exit from the tournament as they lost to Sophia 5-2. For Sophia Akeem Jaikissoon was on target thrice with strikes in the 2nd, 8th and 29th minutes as well as single strikes from Desmond Cottam (30th) and Shem Porter (15th).
Alexander Village, on the other hand, had Kevin Gordon (5th) and Ryan October (13th) on target.
Colin Nelson’s brace (17th and 26th) along with Konata Manning (6th), Okeene Fraser (15th), Kelsey Benjamin (23rd) and Sheldon Profitt (24th) accounted for Bent Street’s 6-2 victory over Stevedore while Shane Morris and Dorwin Filter each pulled one back.
Back Circle also registered a 4-1 win over Showstoppers with Sylvester Richardson, Stephan McLean Akeemo Anthony and Keron Joshua all on target with Dexroy Adams scoring the consolation goal.
Matches continue next Tuesday.
