Dear Editor,
I UNDERSTAND from press reports that Prince Harry will be gracing Guyana with his presence during a visit to this country before the end of 2016…For Guyana to be included in a Royal visit, I am hoping that it will benefit Guyana in a small way.

I am not certain if Guyana possesses the skilled people who are able to repair the nose and hand of Queen Victoria’s statue, which is located in the Supreme Court compound in time for the Royal visit. However, if time is against us, perhaps we need to consider hiding away Queen Victoria or placing a white piece of cloth over the statue in that court compound.
