Petra/ Ministry of Health Stop Gender-Based Violence football 25 goals scored on night six

TWENTY-FIVE goals were scored on the last night of group action in the Ministry of Public Health-Sponsored, Petra-organised Stop Gender-Based Violence Soft Shoe futsal tournament.In the first game, the Ministry of Public Health were the first team to be beaten 1-4 by Broad Street as Trevor Lewis’s 3rd minute goal was cancelled by one strike each from Leon Richardson (18th), Jimmy Gravesande (21st), Devon Johnson (22nd) and Jamal Cozier (23rd)
In game two, Albouystown registered a 5-0 thrashing of Young Ballers with a hat-trick from Kemo Scott (7th , 9th and 12th) while Roy Samuels (5th) and Lennox Cort (20th) wrapped up the scoring.
In the third game, West front Road and Queen Street Tiger Bay played to a 4-4 draw with West Front Road’s strikes coming from Jermin Junior (16th and 22nd) and Nathaniel Nagaloo (9th and 28th) while their opponents goals came from Alpha Fletchman (3rd), Darren Harris (12th), an own Own Goal (13th) and Omallo Williams (29th)
In the fourth game, a goal-less stalemate occurred between Kitty Weavers and Bent Street as with game five between Alexander Village and Leopold Street being a carbon copy.
Game six saw Sparta Boss beat Sophia 4-3 with strikes from Gregory Richardson (22nd and 23rd), Sheldon Shepherd (14th) and Eusi Phillip (30th) while on target in the loss, were Shemroy Arthur (4th), Desmond Cottam (17th) and Dwayne Lowe (27th).
Moving onto the next round are Channel 9 Warriors, and Campbellville from group A; Kitty and Globe Yard from group B; Sophia, Holmes Street Tigerbay and Sparta Boss from group C; Queen Street Tigerbay, West Front Road and Broad Street from group D; North Ruimveldt, Alexander Village and Leopold Street from group E and Albouystown, Tucville and North-East La Penitence from group F.
North-East (F), Leopold Street (E), Broad Street (D) and Sparta Boss (C) all went through due to the their points being more than the third-placed finishers in the other two groups .
