WORLD-renowned tennis player Rafa Nadal was just announced as the flag bearer of Spain at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

USA and Canada have already showcased the outfits/uniforms which their athletes will wear.

Has Guyana begun its preparations for Rio? From which sporting fraternities are Guyana expected to jet off athletes? Will the five colours of the Guyana Flag be used as the design concept for athletes’ clothing, or will green and yellow be the only two colours used?

To those who from qualifications are selected to represent Guyana at the Rio Olympic Games 2016 I say: just have a blast to the max!
