Eighteen – year – old Paul Softley is nursing a gunshot wound to his left ear following a drive- by shooting in ‘B’ Field Sophia on Wednesday night.

According to a police report, at about 19:15 hrs, Softley of ‘B’ Field Sophia, was walking along the roadway at ‘B’ Field with his brother when a motor vehicle drove by from which shots were discharged in their direction.

Softley was struck behind his left ear and has been admitted to hospital. No one has been arrested and investigations are in progress.
