A BELIZEAN law student at the University of Guyana was, on Thursday evening, shot twice to his body while he stood on the roadway in front of his Cummings Lodge, ECD home.According to a Guyana Police Force press statement, at approximately 21:00hrs on Thursday evening, 31-year- old Glenfield Dennison of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara was shot to the chest and left arm while standing on the roadway in front of his home.

Dennison was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where, up to press time, he was still receiving medical attention.

The police have so far declined to attribute a motive to the shooting, but are continuing their investigations.
