RON ‘Andel’ Forde, who was arrested on Sunday night at 2nd Avenue Wismar, Linden, for questioning in relation to the murder of transgender sex worker Nephi Noel will make his first court appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court today.Police responded to information received and went to the location where Forde was taken into custody at Linden and transported to the city.

Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum told this publication yesterday that based on advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) they will proceed to court.
Forde and Kanand Ojha, for whom the police had issued wanted bulletins in connection with the shooting death of transgender sex worker Noel had not made themselves available to the police. However, Forde was arrested on Sunday.
Noel, 20 years, of Lot ZZ D’urban Street, Wortmanville was gunned down by one of two men on July 22, 2015 at about 02:35 hrs, while plying his trade in the downtown area of Carmichael Street in Georgetown. He was shot once to the chest when confronted by the duo during an argument over a paid transaction.

Reports are that a male client had earlier visited the transgender sex worker for a paid sexual encounter, but was apparently not satisfied with the services and had returned to Noel.
Dissatisfied with the response, the client returned with another man, who reportedly shot Noel dead before fleeing the scene in a sports utility vehicle.
Noel was conveyed to the GPHC where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
