A Police Constable and three other persons are in police custody following the search of a vehicle in which an AK-47 rifle and a quantity of ammunition was found on the lower East Coast Demerara last Friday.Two men, including a Police Constable, and two women who were in the vehicle have been arrested and are assisting with the investigations.
Police said last Friday ranks intercepted a motor vehicle on the Mahaica Public Road, ECD, in which an AK-47 rifle with 32 rounds was found.
