FORMER Parliamentarian and longstanding People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) Member Ernest Elliot was yesterday sworn in as a Member of Parliament in place of recently resigned Jaipaul Sharma.Speaker of the House Raphael Trotman disclosed that following the resignation of Mr. Sharma and his call to the APNU list of candidates to find a replacement, Mr Elliot had been duly elected a member of Parliament.
Mr. Elliot took the   oath of the National Assembly, administered by the Clerk Sherlock Isaacs.
Mr. Elliot, who served in the Ninth Parliament, will represent Region 4 in this the 10th Parliament.
