TWO MORE potentially exciting matches in the Stag Beer-sponsored East Bank Football Association division one league are set for tomorrow afternoon at the Grove Playfield, kicking off at 13:00hrs.Timehri Panthers, currently in the second position (9 points), the same as leaders Agricola (better goal difference) will be seeking to take over the lead fully when they take on bottom-of-the-table Herstelling FC competing in their first full season.
While the Timehri boys will go into this game as favourites, the ever-improving Herstelling side have been showing improvements and are expected to put up a stern fight.
The day’s feature game will be a humdinger of an affair with home team Grove Hi Tech coming up against Kuru Kururu Warriors who are ahead of Grove by three points, having played one game more.
The Warriors have won two of their three games with one loss while Grove have won one and lost one. Fans are in for a treat in this game as both teams will be aiming for full points to enhance their quest for top honours and close the gap on the leaders.
