-as he rushes to aid friend being robbed by gunman
THE Guyana Police Force has reported that 21-year-old Earl Deokarran was admitted a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital last evening after he was shot to the groin when he rushed to assist his 19-year-old friend Travis Edwards, who was being attacked by a lone gunman when they were crossing a bridge at Ogle, East Coast Demerara.The gunman had reportedly already relieved Edwards of his gold chain when Deokarran rushed to Edwards’s assistance and was shot in the process.
The police are investigating the matter.
