THE police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 23:50 hrs on Thursday night on the Prospect Public Road, East Bank of Demerara which resulted in the death of motorcyclist Roy Harrilall, 64 years,  of Section ‘E’, Golden Grove, EBD.Investigations have revealed that the driver of motor car PDD 7385 was proceeding north along the roadway and the motor cyclist was proceeding behind, when he overtook the car and collided with the front of the vehicle.
The Police said Roy Harrilall was taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre from where he was transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
