Hype, Caribbean vibes greet Pulse Summer Fete arrivals : – Soca King Machel Montano, Soca Temptress Patrice Roberts and ‘Farmer Nappy’ to perform tonight

HYPE and Caribbean vibes greeted the arrival, yesterday, of the soca sophisticates at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, for the Pulse Summer Fete.

Among those arriving were the Soca King, Machel Montano, Soca Temptress Patrice Roberts and the renowned ‘Farmer Nappy’, all to perform tonight night at the National Stadium at Providence.
On hand to welcome the party, too, was Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA Director, Mr. Indranauth Haralsingh, who apologised for the absence of Minister Irfaan Ali, due to other pressing appointments.
Haralsingh said the GTA is pleased to be associated with the event and applauded the efforts of Pulse Entertainment in bringing esteemed personalities to Guyana.
He said the GTA is more than happy to have endorsed the event and commended the performance of the trio.
Montano said he adores the Guyanese for their support and emphasised that he feels very much a part of the significant growth of music here.

MUSICAL TIES
He said he is particularly pleased with the professionalism of local promoters and urged that the Caribbean should always maintain strong musical ties.
Roberts, in her remarks, admitted being distinctly pleased to be visiting and performing in Guyana.
She declared that touring the world was not a big deal to her, but insisted that coming to Guyana is always a special experience.
Nappy said he is excited to be visiting this country again, recalling that he enjoyed the festivities of Mashramani when he visited for the occasion earlier this year.
He acknowledged that Guyanese ladies are exceptionally beautiful and said he would certainly be “wining with a stranger” tomorrow night.
At that time, the National Stadium will be smothered by raging soca flames as Montano and his crew work up a ‘Caribbean Soca Fever’ that will set fans afire with pulsating and stirring intensity.
Tickets for the occasion can be secured at Palm Court, Gizmos & Gadgets, Princess Hotel Front Desk, Ashmins, Pulse Office in Queenstown, Street Styles Boutique, Lifestyles Boutique, Movietown DVD Club, Movie Zone, Bernard’s Variety at the Linden Bus Park, M&M Snackette at Demerara Harbour Bridge and the Avon DVD Club at Uitvlugt.
