IN its continuous efforts to give back to the Guyanese people, Courts Guyana Incorporated yesterday presented prizes to the ten winners of its largest digital promotion, “Connect Explore Engage”, which ran May 12th to June 30th, 2013.
Making remarks prior to the presentations, done at the Main Street branch in Georgetown, Public Relations Officer, Kester Abrams said Courts is always proud to give back to its customers more than the average company in Guyana does.
“We’ve been in existence for 19 years, and without the support of our customers and without us giving back to our customers, then we are just another furniture and electronics store,” he maintained.
Abrams explained that during the period of the promotion, customers who purchased a television that was at least 32 inches were given the chance to be one of five persons rewarded with a Pembroke Recliner.
During the promotional period, any customer who purchased a music set got a chance to be one of three persons to win their purchase free; and with the purchase of a laptop or desktop computer, customers got a chance to be one of two persons to win one year’s free Emagine Internet service.
The drawing for this promotion was done on July 9, 2013 at the Courts Main Street store in the presence of its internal and external auditors, Ram and Mc Rae.
The aim of this promotion was to publicly honour Courts’ lucky and valued customers for their patronage over the years, for their choosing Courts, and for the company to demonstrate its determination on delivering on its corporate responsibilities in Guyana.
Jennifer John and Oren Parris won for themselves one year’s free Internet service; while Joseph Thomas, Tinesha Semple and Verylyn Wilson were each able to win their purchase free.
Suresh Singh, Ryan Smith, Chamanlall Naipaul, Bibi Hamid and Roxanne Richmond each won one Pembroke Recline.
