It is with dismay that I read an article titled “Ambulance immobile since 2007, racking up $$M in repair bills” [SN 9/7/13]. What is evident from the report is that the Linden Hospital Complex [LHC] has incurred huge maintenance costs for an immobile vehicle. How is this possible? If this report is half accurate, these recorded transactions have all the indications of fraud. I would trust that the LHC and the other relevant departments will do the correct thing and have the perpetrators placed before the courts.
