THE Police at Linden are investigating the death of a 59-year-old woman who was bitten by a snake in her yard recently.
Ingrid Gill, called, ‘Ninja’, who lived alone at her home on Kara Kara Access Road, Mackenzie, died about a month after she was bitten by a snake. She was hospitalized at the Linden Hospital Complex, and dismissed a few days after. But a friend says she continued to suffer from pains.
She was last seen alive by a friend on Monday.
A post-mortem is to be conducted to determine the cause of her death, and her only known relative, who lives in the city, has been contacted.
