Chief Justice grants bail totalling $1.9M to 12 petitioners

CHIEF Justice Mr. Ian Chang, S. C., granted bail Friday to 12 petitioners in relation to various offences, including narcotics and rape.

The offences, offenders, and the amount of bail are as follows:-
Threatening behaviour:  Wesley Singh – $20,000;
Possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking:  Ereene Thomas – $300,000;
                                                                              Marlon Mc Almont – $335,000;
                                                                              Orlando Abbensetts- $300,000;
Break and enter and larceny:  Derrick Norton – $250,000;
Assault causing actual bodily harm:  Royston Mc Curdy – $35,000;
Simple larceny:-  Evwin Semple – $120,000;
Rape:  D. Chatergoon – $300,000;
Obtaining by false pretence:  Telford Layne –$100,000;
Assault:  Utol Duke – $35,000;
Inflicting grievous bodily harm:    Marco Sealey – $80,000;   R. Sealey – $80,000.
