IT is over four months since my neighbourhood and I have been experiencing difficulties sleeping, due to the annoying sounds emitting from a generator being used by a resident to provide electricity to his home, in Fifth Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, Bartica.

This equipment is usually operated from the afternoon until the wee hours of the morning.
It has also affected our school age children who are sometimes found sleeping during class sessions, and those preparing for the CXC examinations are unable to study.
We would be grateful if those in authority can resolve this matter as soon as possible, so that we can have peaceful night rest, and enable our children to be fully prepared for the CXC examination which will be held in a few weeks.
