A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD male student of a Linden Secondary School was found in possession of 28 grammes of suspected marijuana on Monday, a Guyana Police Force (GPF) release said.

The release said the discovery was made about 09:30 hrs, during a check by officials of the Ministry of Education.
According to the release, the youth is, currently, in police custody, assisting with the investigations.
Meanwhile, in a telephone interview with the Chronicle, Chief Education Officer Mr. Olato Sam said while he has not yet received the full report on the matter, it is being dealt with at the level of the Ministry of Education.
